Illuminating Characters

Known for boundary-pushing original series, films and docs along with a curated selection of movies and live-sports, Showtime needed to evolve their brand to reflect their ambition as a streaming-first platform. By distilling down to a few iconic brand signatures: color, typography and visual language of light - we built a nimble, functional and hyper-consistent identity system that unifies the viewer experience across streaming, the network, digital and social.

Open a world of
financial possibility

For more than 20 years, PayPal has remained at the forefront of the digital payment revolution, leveraging technology to help make financial services and commerce more convenient, affordable, and secure. Following tremendous company growth and broader cultural change, there was an opportunity to expand and energize the brand, building upon the strength of their iconic assets.

Our task was to create a core identity system centered around the theme of 'opening up a whole world of possibility and potential.' We developed a motion behavior that incorporates the concept of 'Open and Close,' allowing flexibility across a variety of visual applications, and expressing an energetic and positive vibe through the movement.

Open and Close, where the logo moves diagonally and intersects. This behavior enabled the expansion of the entire system.
